Everyone experiences losing a loved one, including a pet, at some point in their life, so grief is a natural part of life. However, if you are struggling to come to terms with or move forward with your loss and you can see no way to reconcile your feelings, working with a counsellor will help. No two people grieve the same and grief can have a huge impact on your life, your career, your relationships, and your sense of self. Through our work together, we will explore your grief so you can reach a new understanding and move towards integrating your grief into your life going forwards.
Trauma can refer to an experience you had in your past which has shaped and influenced your life since, or it can also be a recent event that you are struggling to come to terms with. Either way, trauma can have a powerful influence over your life, your relationships, your career, your health and wellbeing. Together we can gently explore your experiences, getting to the root cause of your trauma and helping you to move on with your feelings.
Living with anxiety can have a profound impact on your life, preventing you from living your life to the fullest and achieving your potential. Feeling constantly on edge, uncomfortable and fearful of thoughts and situations can leave you feeling exhausted and frayed and unable to cope with everyday life. Panic attacks are very common - you are not alone. When a panic attack happens, the usual thought is “I’m having a heart attack and I am dying.” Together we can explore your feelings of anxiety and what triggers them while working on ways to understand your anxiety better so you can take back control of your life.
